Belt grinder motor questions. Lots of people have used these motors for drill presses and bandsaws. I have yet to see anyone say anything bad about them. Best of luck but I think it may work okay on light duty drilling for woodworking etc. but very much doubt it will have the torque to drill steel at low speeds.
